As part of our efforts to see to the safety of our students, staff and every other person in our environment in the spate of the Coronavirus disease outbreak, we have figured out some strategies during a Management meeting held today, March 19, 2020.
We are aware that the pandemic has led to the closure of academic institutions across various states of the federation and even though we have not yet been given any such directive by the Ogun State Government, we have still gone ahead to plan for the inevitable shutdown of schools in the state.
The school has decided that the ongoing second term examinations will have to be fast-tracked. This way, the students will be able to finish up before the likely closure of the school. Papers originally slated for Monday, March 23 and Tuesday, March 24 will now take place over the weekend of March 21 and 22.
Regardless of whatever development arises in the coming days, the first batch of the 2020/2021 Common Entrance Examination remains unchanged. The screening exercise comes up on Saturday, March 21, 2020.
We will continue to make advancement in our quest to curb the spread of the disease. Do not panic. Be rest assured that your child or ward is in safe hands. All is in control at our end.
It is advised that you always adhere to the rules. Wash your hands as often as possible, avoid body contact especially in crowded areas and above all, report to a licensed health facility for proper checks if you observe any of the symptoms of the Coronavirus infection. We sincerely care about your well-being.
More useful updates will be provided once available. Stay safe!
